When you use MacroLens, we create an anonymous account to store your data. We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifiers unless you choose to provide them.
Food Images and Data
When you use MacroLens to track meals, we collect:
- Photos of food that you choose to capture and analyze
- Nutritional analysis results (calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber)
- Any voice corrections or refinements you make to the analysis
- Timestamps of when meals were logged
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information about how you use the app, including:

Third-Party Services
MacroLens uses the following third-party services:
Google Firebase

RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes payment information through Apple's App Store. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
AI Analysis Provider
Food images are sent to an AI service for nutritional analysis. Images are processed to generate macro estimates and are not retained by the AI provider after analysis.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption. Food images are stored in secure cloud storage accessible only to your account.
Data Retention
We retain your meal data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual meal entries at any time within the app. If you wish to delete all your data, please contact us at support@macrolens.me.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Delete your meal entries and associated images
- Request deletion of your entire account
- Opt out of any future data collection by uninstalling the app
Children's Privacy
MacroLens is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
